The most flamboyant English batter of his generation, and the inventor of the switch-hit at Test level. Pietersen's 158 at The Oval in the 2005 Ashes was played with a Woodworm Torch and effectively decided the series.
He moved through several brands across his career — Woodworm, Adidas, Slazenger, Spartan — but the lime-green Woodworm stickers from 2005 are how most fans remember his bat.
