History
Founded by John Newbery in 1981 after he left Gray-Nicolls, Newbery built a reputation as a craftsman's bat-maker. Every premium bat is still made by hand in the Hove workshop.
Newbery is the favoured brand of England's red-ball middle order: Jos Buttler (Hove-made Mjolnir), Eoin Morgan in his prime, and county legend Mark Ramprakash all carried Newbery.
The Mjolnir, Kudos, and Master have become signature profiles in the modern English game.
