History
Founded in 1969 by Sansar Chand Sareen, SS (Sareen Sports) and its sister brand Ton built the Indian bat industry around the Meerut willow belt. The brand has supplied players across every era of Indian cricket.
SS bats were carried by Sunil Gavaskar in the 1970s–80s and remained a fixture for VVS Laxman and the early Tendulkar years. Today, Ajinkya Rahane, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya have all swung SS or Ton profiles.
The Master, Magnum, and Ton Gladiator remain among the best-selling premium bats in the Indian domestic market.
